We are directly facilitating one of the largest bullion sellers anywhere. They have a strict procedure but very reasonable. It is synopsized here:
The gold bullion is in HSBC, HK and is refined in Australia and is less than 5 years old, fully liftable or may be sold FOB and can remain in Hong Kong. There are no liens or encumbrances of any kind. Seller uses an MT600 to be issued by HSBC and done via full HSBC, HK responsibility indicating the validity of the bullion. The seller has a contract for a L2L transaction, a probe type of sale for 50MT (or can be 200MT B2B) to prove funds and capability. Buyer can purchase 5000MT the very next day, followed by another 5000MT -10,000MT the following day and so forth for as much as buyer can handle. (Rolls and extensions.) Procedure is for a preliminary meeting in HK with the seller mandate followed by a TTM for the SPA, NCND and FPA. (Seller will record in SPA payments to the appropriate intermediaries.)
