The business was registered in 2006 but actively started operations in June 2008.We rear broiler chicken for meat which we sell through a retail outlet near out local town, we also supply the local hotels and the surplus is delivered to hotels in the capital city -Naorobi. The business operates through a sole proprietorship arragement. We normally rear 2000 chiken per six week cycle. The income so derived is re-invested into the business. We intend to expand our operations by supplying day old chicks to the farmers since this is kind of an adjacent business.
