Steel products price saw both increase and decrease on Tuesday in East China, among which construction steel price declined by 10-30 yuan/t; medium plate and HRC price were stable except for 10-20 yuan/t increase in Shanghai and Wuxi markets; CRC and section steel decreased by 20-30 yuan/t. Specifically, Rebar of Shenyin Special Steel was priced at 3,440 yuan/t in Shanghai market; Rebar steel of Zenith Steel was priced at 3,420 yuan/t in Hangzhou market; HRC of Benxi Steel was priced at 3,210 yuan/t in Shanghai market; medium and heavy plate of Pingxiang Steel was priced at 3,580 yuan/t in Shanghai market; CRC of Ansteel was priced at 3,650-3,660 yuan/t in Shanghai market. After Qingming Festival, construction steel price decreased in some markets and the demand was generally weak. The decrement in market inventory was narrowed in the previous week.
